while(1<2) is the seventh studio album by deadmau5 and his first double album. Many of the songs were originally posted on his Soundcloud in 2013 but were removed shortly after he moved to his website, live.deadmau5.com.

while (1<2) is a double album with 25 tracks and two continuous mixes that appear on iTunes and Spotify. The songs Avaritia, Gula, Acedia, Invidia, Ira, and Superbia were originally released as piano-only tracks on a demo album called 7 EP, and the tracks Bleed and A Moment to Myself were previously demo tracks released on Soundcloud in 2010. Monday was originally a track on Project 56. It was re-edited and lengthened for the release on while (1<2).
